Adding your own company application is an Indeed solution that allows employers to post jobs directly on Indeed and have job seekers apply through an apply process hosted on an employer website. Adding your own company application is a solution for employers whose jobs are not easily indexable, or for who want to use Indeed's hosted job product but need job seekers to apply through their company application process.
Company Website Quality Guidelines
Indeed values creating a job seeker experience that is intuitive, and offers ease of use. To provide job seekers with the highest quality experience possible, Indeed works to ensure application processes follow certain guidelines. In order to use your own company application on Indeed, your job(s) must meet certain quality and policy criteria. Below are the main areas of eligibility for using your own company application.
- The link you provide must be an application process or a job description that includes a link to an application process. Job lists and career pages are not allowed.
- The application landing page should be a 1:1 match to the job posted on Indeed. Applications that require the jobseeker to write in or select their desired position or location are not allowed.
Individual Issues
Below are the individual quality issues that may result in your job(s) being temporarily hidden.
General Page
- The link you use must lead to an application page or directly to the application process for a unique job. Web links that lead to non-job pages are not allowed.
Job List
- Lists of jobs, career pages, or links to job board are not allowed. You must provide a URL that leads directly to a unique application process or a job description that includes a link to an application process
Discrimination
- Discriminatory content is not allowed on Indeed. This includes potentially discriminatory questions in applications.
Dead Links
- The link you provide must lead to an active application that allows the job seeker to apply to their chosen job. Inactive or broken applications are not allowed
Not a 1:1 match
- Your company application page must be a 1:1 match to the job(s) posted on Indeed. This means that the application you provide must be for the same job posted on Indeed. This includes the title, the location, and job responsibilities.
Must Choose Role
- Your company application page must be a 1:1 match to the job(s) posted on Indeed. For this reason, jobseekers must not be required to fill in, write in, or choose their desired position. Applications should be specific to the role posted on Indeed, or must have the correct choice pre-filled for job seekers.
Must Choose Location
- Your company application page must be a 1:1 match to the job(s) posted on Indeed. For this reason, jobseekers must not be required to fill in, write in, or choose their desired work location. Applications should be specific to the role posted on Indeed, or must have the correct choice pre-filled for job seekers.
